Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking a Strategist to join our fast-growing Strategy & Insights practice. You will work with executive-level event organizers to drive profitable revenue and community engagement through in-person and online events.

You will help scale Growth capabilities, bring an established consulting toolkit, and shape how we work while owning client engagements and delivering impactful strategic insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of management consulting experience
• 3-5 years of related professional experience
• Strong observation, analytical, and business acumen skills
• Experience building slide-based client deliverables for senior stakeholders
• Excellent written communication and storytelling
• Strong organizational skills for prioritizing multiple projects
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel; familiarity with AI tools
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience in live events is a plus

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities via research and problem solving to create value in the event industry.
• Develop strategic growth frameworks using data-driven analysis.
• Organize and analyze data for compelling executive client presentations.
• Create financial and pricing models to drive profitable growth for events.
• Lead or support client engagements with clear steps for action.
• Participate in industry events to observe and analyze findings.
• Collaborate with Strategy & Insights and Freeman to advance frameworks.
• Build and maintain client relationships and a client-centric approach.
• Lead thought leadership on growth and profitability strategies in events.
