Job summary

AEG is seeking a Dock Expeditor for the Campus loading dock in Los Angeles to coordinate daily deliveries, operate with drivers and venue staff, and ensure on-time unloading. This role emphasizes problem-solving, accuracy, and proactive communication in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires physical fitness, lifting up to 35 lbs, and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Safety and efficiency are top priorities in this full-time temp role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams).
• Two years related work experience.
• Previous experience in event production and logistics
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Experience operating heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control truck traffic, dock access and movement of supplies, deliveries, and equipment into and out of the Campus loading dock areas.
• Monitor, report and assist with safety and functionality of service areas.
• Ensure tenants and vendors operate in accordance with policies.
• Assist the Dock Master with assigned duties.
• Communicate access issues professionally with Campus tenants and vendors.
• Provide operational support to all departments of Campus Operations.
• Assist with emergency situations as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in back of house areas and remove waste.
