Job summary

ASM Global's Pinnacle Bank Arena and Pinewood Bowl Theater in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks an Assistant Security Manager to support the Security Manager in overseeing security operations for live events and daily building security.

You will help lead event staffing, scheduling, training, incident response, and facility inspections, coordinating with police, fire, EMS and venue departments to keep patrons and staff safe.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of security operations in sports or public venues.
• Leadership and decision-making with staff supervision experience.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing event conditions and staffing needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Security Manager in planning and supervising building and event security operations.
• Lead during concerts and events, overseeing staff, posts, and incident responses.
• Support security planning, patron screening, access control, crowd management, and emergencies.
• Coordinate with police, fire/EMS, and other public safety agencies as needed.
• Maintain security documentation and training for personnel.
• Rotate as Manager on Duty during events.
