Job summary

Legends Global Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center is seeking a Security Control Specialist to manage security operations, dispatch and coordination. This role ensures timely communication, incident handling, and a safe environment for guests and staff during events.

You will monitor lines, dispatch personnel, and support emergency response, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and large events at a premier venue.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a security dispatch, control room, or front-line security role.
• High School Diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Valid BSIS Guard Card (California or equivalent).
• Proficient with radio dispatch, MS Office, visitor management, and surveillance tech.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; calm under pressure.
• Ability to work long, irregular hours including nights and events.

Responsibilities

• Monitor emergency lines, radios, and surveillance feeds; dispatch staff.
• Maintain logs, incident reports, and equipment use.
• Manage Employee Entrance (EE); enforce sign-in and wristbands.
• Provide emergency support and act as control center backup.
