Job summary

Legends Global Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center is seeking a Security Control Specialist to serve as the communication hub for security operations during events. You will monitor emergency lines, dispatch personnel, and support incident response to ensure a safe, smooth experience for guests and staff.

The role requires a valid BSIS Guard Card, 2+ years in security dispatch or control rooms, and strong communication under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Valid BSIS Guard Card (California or equivalent).
• 2+ years in a security dispatch, control room, or front-line security operations role.
• Proficient with radio dispatch systems, surveillance tech, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; calm under pressure during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor emergency lines, security radios, and surveillance feeds to detect and respond to incidents.
• Dispatch appropriate security personnel and coordinate with police, fire, and medical services.
• Maintain records and logs of calls, dispatches, incidents, and responses.
• Serve as primary contact for employees entering the facility; enforce sign-in and wristband procedures.
• Assist in fire alarm procedures, evacuations, and incident communications.
