Job summary

Activate is seeking an experienced Live Event Producer to take ownership of programs from concept to execution. You'll manage timelines, budgets, deliverables and teams, turning creative concepts into walkable, interactive experiences.

Travel to sites nationwide, lead Run of Show, coordinate vendors and crews, and protect the client experience while solving problems on the fly. The role demands leadership, strong communication, and a passion for making ambitious ideas happen.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in experiential marketing, event production, live events, or a related field.
• Owned complex events or brand activations from start to finish.
• Comfortable managing budgets, vendors, timelines, logistics, and clients.
• Able to stay organized when several projects and deadlines are moving at once.
• Strong communicator who can lead both behind the scenes and onsite.
• Have the judgment to make decisions when there isn't an obvious playbook.
• Willing and excited to travel depending on program needs.
• Love the challenge of turning an ambitious idea into reality.

Responsibilities

• Own the Event from pre-production through onsite execution and post-event wrap-up, maintaining timelines, budgets, deliverables, and teams.
• Build and own program budgets, track costs, negotiate with vendors, and protect the bottom line.
• Partner with Creative, Operations, Fabrication, vendors, and clients to transform concepts into real-world experiences.
• Coordinate vendors, crews, associate producers, production coordinators, brand ambassadors, and partners while keeping everyone aligned for showtime.
• Anticipate challenges, make confident decisions, pivot quickly, and keep the show moving when the unexpected happens.
• Travel to event sites across the country and lead load-in, activation, and load-out, running the Run of Show and safeguarding the client experience.

We're looking for an experienced Live Event Producer who knows how to take ownership of a program, manage a million moving pieces, and turn a creative concept into something people can actually walk into, interact with, and remember.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Own the Event

Manage experiential programs from pre-production through onsite execution and post-event wrap-up: keeping timelines, budgets, deliverables, and teams moving forward.

Manage the Money

Build and own program budgets, track costs, negotiate with vendors, and make smart production decisions that protect both the experience and the bottom line.

Bring Ideas to Life

Partner with Creative, Operations, Fabrication, vendors, and clients to transform concepts into real-world experiences: including custom displays, builds, touring vehicles, décor, technology, and more.

Lead the Team

Coordinate vendors, crews, Associate Producers, Production Coordinators, brand ambassadors, and partners while keeping everyone aligned and moving toward showtime.

Solve Problems

Events rarely go exactly according to plan. We're looking for someone who can anticipate challenges, make confident decisions, pivot quickly, and keep the show moving when the unexpected happens.

Run the Show

Travel to event sites across the country and take the lead during load-in, activation, and load-out. You'll manage the Run of Show, oversee crews, protect the client experience, and make sure every detail comes together.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You might be a great fit if you:

• Have 7+ years of experience in experiential marketing, event production, live events, or a related field
• Have successfully owned complex events or brand activations from start to finish
• Are comfortable managing budgets, vendors, timelines, logistics, and clients
