Job summary

Hockey Western New York, LLC is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to provide first-in-class service in merchandise spaces during events at KeyBank Center, including Buffalo Sabres games, concerts, and other events. You will assist at POS, know merchandise details, and help maintain displays and inventory.

The role requires strong communication, a willingness to learn, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced arena setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Point of Sale Terminal (POS) system experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Ability to address and resolve customer issues.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and push selling points of product.
• Ability to maintain focus and work ethic while working in a fast paced, crowded, and often changing team environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions and provide assistance at the point of sale (POS).
• Be familiar with store merchandise and speak knowledgeably about items including jerseys and sizing.
• Assist with store merchandising, product display, inventory levels and cleanliness.
• Assist with warehouse duties: receiving merchandise, verifying packaging slips, tagging items, creating box labels and inventory controls.
• Ensure customers are serviced at the highest level and escalate to staff when needed to maintain fast service.
