Job summary

Sabres & ROCH - Buffalo Sabres in Buffalo, NY seeks a Sales Associate to deliver first-in-class fan service in merchandise spaces during all events at KeyBank Center. You will greet fans, manage the POS, and speak knowledgeably about jerseys and sizing while supporting merchandising and inventory tasks.

The role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and an outgoing personality. Must lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• POS experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and willingness to learn selling points.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, crowded environment.
• Maintain a professional appearance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions at the point of sale.
• Speak knowledgeably about merchandise, jerseys, sizing, and vendor items.
• Assist with merchandising, product display, inventory levels, and store cleanliness.
• Assist with warehouse duties: receiving merchandise, verifying packing slips, tagging items, creating box labels and inventory controls.
• Ensure customers are serviced at the highest level; escalate as needed for speed.
• Communicate stock needs to the appropriate staff.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to prevent workplace issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Complete workplace training on time and stay updated on staff emails.
• Be self-sufficient and reliable when asked to complete tasks.
