New Village Arts is seeking friendly Front of House Staff to join our team in Carlsbad, CA. This cross-trained role covers Box Office and Bartending, focusing on providing excellent customer service during live events.

Candidates should enjoy a fast-paced, people-centered environment and be available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Prior theatre or hospitality experience is preferred, and compliance with alcohol/service policies will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patrons in person and by phone.
• Sell and distribute tickets, assist with will call, and answer patron questions.
• Operate ticketing and point-of-sale systems accurately.
• Serve beer, wine, and other approved beverages in accordance with policy.
• Check IDs and support responsible alcohol service.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Restock bar and front-of-house supplies.
• Keep lobby, bar, and audience-facing areas clean and organized.
• Assist with pre-show, intermission, and post-show operations.
• Communicate patron concerns or issues to the supervisor on duty.
