Job summary

San Diego Theatres is seeking Front of House staff to deliver exceptional guest service at the Civic Theatre. You will assist guests, check tickets, and help with binocular rentals while maintaining a welcoming, safe environment.

The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, with emphasis on 40% event availability monthly and strict adherence to safety and loss prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• Maintain composure while handling a wide variety of personalities and situations.
• Availability to work 40% of events per month, including 3 weekend shifts.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays with 2.5 hour minimum shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests to their seats, provide directional help and maintain a positive presence.
• Operate ticket scanners to grant venue access and assist guests at entry points.
• Facilitate rental activities (binoculars) at events using the Point of Sale system.
• Manage lost-and-found items and ensure safety procedures and evacuation guidelines are followed.
