Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a Barback to support bartenders by stocking supplies, setting up stations, and maintaining clean, efficient bar areas. The role involves stocking, restocking, ice management, and ensuring promotion visibility across shifts.

The position requires a 21+ age, Food Handler’s Certificate, and California RBS training within hire period. No prior experience is required, with opportunities to grow within a premier gaming resort in San Diego.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• RASS or TIPS Certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• California Responsible Beverage Service Training required upon hire.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• No experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains stock levels in the bar area, including products and supplies.
• Sets up bartenders' stations and ensures all supplies are present.
• Keeps bartenders supplied with ice throughout the shift.
• Washes glasses and restocks each station to maintain ample supply.
• Restocks bars and bar coolers at shift start and end.
• Keeps bar area clean and free of debris.
• Promotes current promotions and events and advertises features of the property.
• Adheres to Food and Beverage policies and safety procedures.
