Job summary

Old Tucson Entertainment LLC is seeking a safety-conscious Production Technician to join our technical team in Tucson, AZ. You will help safely set up, operate, and maintain sound systems, lighting, animatronics, carpentry, and pyrotechnic effects for live shows and attractions, coordinating with the Stage Manager and Technical Supervisor to preserve show integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or certifications in theater production or related fields preferred.
• Experience as a show technician in theater/theme park/entertainment venue.
• Basic knowledge of sound systems, lighting equipment, animatronics, carpentry, pyrotechnics, weapons, art, and decor.
• Experience with ETC EOS/ION software.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain sound systems, lighting, animatronics, carpentry, pyrotechnic effects.
• Collaborate with Stage Manager and Technical Supervisor to maintain show integrity.
• Adhere to safety protocols for all technical elements including pyrotechnics and weapons.
• Support routine maintenance and inspections of technical equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize show disruption.
