Job summary

Old Tucson Entertainment is seeking an Attraction Attendant to help create memorable guest experiences. You will operate rides, assist with ticket collection, and communicate safety procedures while engaging visitors in themed storytelling.

Responsibilities include safety checks, customer service, and handling cash or electronic transactions. The role may involve wearing themed costumes and providing on-board narration to enhance the park experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good communication skills.
• Be tactful and diplomatic.
• Customer service experience.
• Knowledge of general safety procedures.
• Knowledge of the attraction and local area.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• CPR and emergency response courses recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections and checks on attractions.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free area around the attraction.
• Operate rides and verify tickets.
• Process cash and electronic transactions accurately.
• Handle guest purchases for tickets, games, and merchandise.
• Provide on-board narration to enhance guest experience.
• Dress in themed or character costumes to support storytelling.
• Instruct riders on safety procedures and restraints.
• Operate ride controls within designated timeframes.
• Set up and manage carnival-style games and attractions.
• Explain game rules and distribute prizes to guests.
• Clean and refuel ride vehicles and equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and greet guests.
• Address guest concerns or complaints professionally.
• Offer guests information and directions for park navigation.
• Monitor areas for hazards and report issues promptly.
• Respond to emergencies and report incidents promptly.
