Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; arts field preferred.
  • 3–5 years booking multi-genre venues in nonprofit arts.
  • Experience with artist agreements, contracts, riders, offers, settlements.
  • Strong budgeting, risk management, and strategic planning.
  • Proficiency with CRM, project management tools; Tessitura/Prism preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Book and manage a diverse mix of events across multiple venues.
  • Identify opportunities with agents/artists/promoters; negotiate models.
  • Collaborate with VP of Programming and President on the calendar.
  • Build and manage show budgets, offers, expenses, and revenue risk.
  • Manage offers, contracts, production advances, settlements.
  • Oversee event settlements and programming calendar coordination.
  • Deliver show information to stakeholders with deal points and assets.
  • Attend industry meetings to research talent and trends.
  • Stay current on pricing and market developments.
  • Partner with Marketing on strategy and ticket goals.
  • Participate in cross-departmental calendar/production meetings.
  • Provide show coverage regionally or nationally as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
