Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare, file, and manage pleadings and related court documents using federal and state electronic filing systems in compliance with procedures.
• Prepare, organize, and review exhibits, binders, and materials for depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Draft motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, affidavits, notices, and related documents.
• Assist attorneys with all phases of discovery and eDiscovery, including document review and management of materials.
• Assist with service of process.
• Calendar and track deadlines with proper civil procedures and rules.
• Maintain firm document management system and file upkeep.
• Prepare Excel charts, timelines, and summaries of information.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and witnesses.
• Conduct legal/non-legal research and prepare memoranda.
• Provide administrative and case management support to attorneys.
• Billable work as assigned with a goal of 1400 billable hours per year.
