Job summary

Becker is a diverse, multi-practice, commercial law firm seeking a seasoned litigation paralegal to support business litigation matters. The role requires coordinating with attorneys, managing calendars, and handling pleadings and discovery across NYSCEF, PACER, and NJ eCourts.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of litigation paralegal experience.
Paralegal certificate or degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparation and electronic filing of pleadings, motions, correspondence, subpoenas, and discovery materials in state and federal courts, including NYSCEF, PACER, and NJ eCourts.
Maintain attorney calendars, court deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings.
Prepare, organize, and scan legal documents, exhibits, binders, and case files using iManage, Adobe, and related software.
Support attorneys and paralegals with case management, docketing, discovery, evidence collection, and trial/hearing preparation.
Coordinate Zoom mediations, service lists, public records requests, and document production projects.
Maintain accurate electronic and physical files.
Assist with file closing procedures and related accounting requests.
Communicate professionally with attorneys, court personnel, clients, vendors, and internal departments.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
