Becker, a diverse commercial law firm with offices nationwide, seeks a litigation paralegal in New York. You will assist with pleadings, motions, and discovery, manage attorney calendars, and organize case files using iManage, NYSCEF, PACER, and related tools.

Minimum 4 years of litigation paralegal experience is required, with a paralegal certificate or degree preferred. Strong communication, organization, and confidentiality are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Paralegal certificate or degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Experience supporting business litigation in state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and electronic filing of pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, hearings, and depositions.
• Prepare and organize legal documents and case files using related software.
• Support attorneys and paralegals with docketing, discovery, and trial prep.
• Coordinate mediations, service lists, and document production projects.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical files and assist with closing procedures.
