Job summary

The role is in-office and requires strong organizational and discovery skills, including handling medical records and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in litigation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Lexis Nexis.
• Experience obtaining medical records via authorizations/subpoenas preferred.
• Experience following the legal process in subpoenas.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling IMEs.
• Docket searches.
• Retaining experts and sending documents for review.
• Gathering medical records and other discovery via authorizations, subpoenas, social media, etc.
• Tracking, organizing, and preparing discovery materials going to counsel, experts, and witnesses.
• Assisting attorneys with trial preparation.
• Organization and maintenance of files in our document management system.
• Other general office administration functions.
