Qualifications

• 5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in-house at a public company or large law firm
• Litigation experience with discovery and e-discovery practices
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, litigation procedure, and court eFiling processes
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, legal research platforms, and legal matter management tools
• Experience leveraging AI tools or analytics in legal workflows is a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for litigation and matter management, including engagement, onboarding, and coordination of outside counsel
• Manage case lifecycles from opening through closure, maintaining accurate matter data and documentation
• Coordinate collection, review, and organization of documents for responses to claims, subpoenas, and records requests
• Support responses to regulatory inquiries by gathering and providing relevant information
• Issue and track litigation hold notices; organize materials for e-discovery and production
• Maintain and track critical deadlines, including subpoenas, discovery deadlines, and mediation or arbitration dates
• Function as a liaison between internal departments and outside counsel to ensure efficient communication and timely responses
