Job summary

Group 1 Automotive, Inc. is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to provide specialized litigation support to the Deputy General Counsel - Litigation and comprehensive legal administration for the Legal Department.

The role requires exceptional organization, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will bring professionalism, sound judgment, and experience in litigation management, e-discovery, and regulatory responses, while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in-house at a public company or large firm.
• Litigation experience including discovery and e-discovery practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, litigation procedure, and eFiling processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and legal research tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first contact for litigation and matter management, coordinating outside counsel.
• Manage case lifecycles from opening to closure with accurate documentation.
• Coordinate collection and organization of documents for subpoenas and records requests.
• Support responses to regulatory inquiries with relevant information.
• Track deadlines for subpoenas, discovery, mediation, and regulatory dates.
