Job summary

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in the Litigation practice group. The preferred location is Pittsburgh, PA, with consideration given to other office locations.

The successful candidate will review medical records and deposition transcripts, prepare notices and exhibits, and manage case chronologies while coordinating with experts, clients, and staff. This role requires strong discovery skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of business litigation experience.
• College degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate; equivalent experience ok.
• Strong discovery knowledge and court docket familiarity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Review and summarize medical records and deposition transcripts.
• Prepare notices of depositions and deposition exhibits.
• Communicate with experts and clients.
• Create and maintain case chronologies.
• Draft discovery requests and discovery responses.
• Assist in drafting motions, responses, and exhibits.
• Review document productions for responsiveness and redactions.
• Organize and manage document productions.
• Maintain internal active case lists with deadlines for clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Assist in case law research; collaborate with project staff to fulfill production needs.
• Ability to multi-task, handle large caseload, and work overtime.
• Other duties as requested.
