Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in our Litigation practice group. The location preference is Pittsburgh, PA, but qualified applicants at other office locations will be considered.

The role involves reviewing records, drafting discoveries, and coordinating with clients and experts. We value strong verbal and written communication, organization, and robust discovery skills.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in business litigation.
• College degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of discovery and docket access/review.

Responsibilities

• Review and summarize medical records and deposition transcripts
• Prepare notices of depositions and deposition exhibits
• Communicate with experts and clients
• Create and maintain case chronologies
• Draft discovery requests and responses
• Assist in drafting motions, responses, and exhibits
• Review and organize document productions with redactions
• Organize and manage document productions
• Maintain internal active case lists with deadlines for client and court
• Assist in case law research and draft client update reports
• Collaborate with Project Assistants, Clerks, and staff to meet production needs
• Multi-task and manage a large caseload with overtime as needed
• Other duties as requested
