Job summary

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in our Litigation practice group. While the location preference is Pittsburgh, PA, we will consider qualified applicants at other office locations.

Responsibilities include reviewing medical records and transcripts, preparing deposition notices, coordinating with experts and clients, creating case chronologies, drafting discovery requests and motions, and managing document productions with careful redactions and

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in business litigation.
• College degree, ABA-approved paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of discovery and reviewing court dockets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Review and summarize medical records and deposition transcripts.
• Prepare notices of depositions and deposition exhibits.
• Communicate with experts and clients.
• Create and maintain case chronologies.
• Draft discovery requests and responses.
• Assist in drafting motions, responses, and exhibits.
• Review and organize document productions with redactions and finalization for production.
• Manage internal active case lists with deadlines.
