Job summary

Dinsmore is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in our Litigation practice group. The location preference is Pittsburgh, PA, but we will consider qualified applicants at other office locations.

Responsibilities include reviewing medical records, preparing deposition notices, managing case chronologies, drafting discovery, and assisting with motions and document productions. Candidate should have strong discovery knowledge, be highly organized, and able to manage large caseloads.

Qualifications

• Discovery knowledge required.
• Strong knowledge of reviewing court dockets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and summarize medical records and deposition transcripts.
• Prepare notices of depositions and deposition exhibits.
• Communicate with experts and clients.
• Create and maintain case chronologies.
• Draft discovery requests and responses.
• Assist in the draft of motions, responses, and exhibits.
• Review and organize document productions and apply redactions.
• Organize and manage document productions.
• Maintain internal active case lists with deadlines.
• Assist in case law research.
• Draft client update reports.
• Coordinate with Project Assistant and staff to fulfill production needs.
• Ability to multi-task and manage a large caseload, with overtime as needed.
