Amentum is seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant I to support federal contracting work under close supervision. You will assist with docketing, document review, case summaries, and subpoena packet preparation in a structured environment.

The role requires a paralegal certificate or current ABA-law-school attendance (one year) and litigation experience. Strong research skills with LEXIS/Westlaw and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or currently attending ABA-accredited law school with at least one year of study.
• One year of legal training or legal experience or at least two years of college education may substitute for the certificate.
• At least one year of litigation paralegal experience or project experience; trial experience helpful.
• Familiar with legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw; strong legal knowledge and citations.

Responsabilités

• Consult prescribed sources for facts related to program matters.
• File documents including nondisclosure orders and warrants; manage 6e notices and amendments.
• Review documents to extract data and compile subpoena packets.
• Review and summarize case precedent and decisions in prescribed formats.
• Docket deadlines and conferences; assist with hearings as needed.
