Amentum is seeking a multilingual paralegal to support attorneys in discovery, motion practice, and related document work. The role involves data extraction, compilation from data banks, and summarizing findings for further review.

The candidate should have a paralegal certificate or JD (or be in ABA-accredited law school) with at least one year of study, plus at least one year of litigation paralegal experience and familiarity with Lexis and Westlaw. Remote work is not specified.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials; US Citizenship required.
• Requires paralegal certificate, or JD, or ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study.
• At least one year of litigation paralegal experience; trial experience helpful.
• Automated litigation support experience valued.
• Knowledge of legal citation and ability to perform basic legal research using Lexis/Westlaw.
• Excellent written and oral communication; proficient with word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging.
• Familiarity with ESI tools and eDiscovery procedures.
• Must be bilingual or multilingual.

Responsibilities

• Review documents to extract selected data and information related to specific items.
• Compile relevant material from computer data banks.
• Summarize findings, highlighting notable documents for further review.
• Attend regularly scheduled meetings with attorneys and management to discuss findings and scope of discovery.
• Review documents for privilege according to established guidelines and criteria.
