Job summary

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. is seeking a paralegal to provide overall litigation support under supervision from the Director, Litigation. The role includes handling litigation preparation, maintaining files, and assisting attorneys with related matters.

The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of direct paralegal experience and familiarity with litigation in a corporate/legal setting. A bachelor's degree in Law or related field is required, with strong MS Office and drafting skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree.
Field of Study: Law.
Minimum 2 years direct experience with either paralegal certificate or equivalent.
Experience with litigation matters in a law firm and/or a company's legal department preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor, create and organize case files.
Maintain calendar to ensure timely court deadlines.
Draft subpoenas and HIPAA authorizations to obtain records; coordinate service.
Draft pleadings, notices of hearing/deposition/examination, and basic motions.
Coordinate depositions and independent medical examinations with counsel and vendors.
Arrange for surveillance where needed.
Review discovery responses and summarize for attorneys.
Draft timelines and event summaries for cases.
Assist in drafting discovery responses.
Handle special projects like court-ordered requests.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
