Jobot seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support high-profile mass tort and insurance defense cases. This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office support and remote work.

You will draft pleadings, manage discovery, coordinate with local counsel, and help prepare settlements in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of paralegal experience and a paralegal credential, with strong writing and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in mass tort litigation or insurance defense litigation.
• Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited program.
• Proficiency in discovery software and MS Office.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of the legal field, court procedures, and legal protocols.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation from onset through post-trial.
• Obtain, review, analyze, and summarize records and materials.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and file them with the court.
• Assist with discovery management; Relativity experience a plus.
• Gather pertinent information from a variety of sources.
• Liaise between teams and external parties; coordinate with local counsel in other states.
• Provide assistance with case settlements.
