This is a full-time position [40 hours per week, with a willingness to work additional hours] that offers medical/dental/vision benefits, and paid leave. The minimum qualifications include:

Qualifications

• 2-plus years of specific paralegal experience in an office environment.
• Extensive computer skills, to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Pro.
• Experience in filing documents in state circuit courts and federal courts throughout Florida.
• Experience drafting notices, motions, and other state and federal court documents.
• Superior skills speaking directly or via telephone with potential clients, agency representatives, defendants, attorneys, and plaintiffs’ counsel.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling various appointments for attorneys and other support staff.
• Requesting documents from state agencies, private entities, defendants, and plaintiffs’ counsel.
• Drafting correspondence for attorneys and support staff.
• Drafting notices of appearance, depositions, mediation, and related standard documents.
