Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant for its New York office to support a busy plaintiff-side litigation practice. The candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a high volume of active matters throughout the litigation lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant litigation experience.
• Plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred.
• Personal injury, medical malpractice, or related complex litigation experience is relevant.

• Manage litigation matters and maintain organized case files
• Draft and assist with pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, correspondence, and related legal documents
• Review and summarize medical, legal, and other case-related records
• Conduct investigative research and gather relevant case information
• Maintain calendars, deadlines, and case-related data
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, and outside parties
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment
