LITIGATION PARALEGAL – PERSONAL INJURY Location: New York, NY
Work Setup: Onsite, Monday–Friday
Salary: $85,000–$100,000, based on experience

A highly respected and rapidly growing New York City plaintiff personal injury firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team.
This role is ideal for a highly organized, motivated paralegal who enjoys taking ownership of litigation files and working in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with an attorney (one-to-one) while maintaining significant responsibility for cases throughout the litigation process.
What You'll Do
- Manage a high-volume caseload
- Maintain organized electronic case files and track critical deadlines and statutes of limitations
- Handle litigation matters throughout the case lifecycle
- Draft Notices of Claim, Summonses and Complaints, Bills of Particulars, discovery demands and responses, Notes of Issue, subpoenas, and other litigation documents
- Electronically file legal documents in compliance with New York State and New York City court requirements
- Prepare demand packages and assist attorneys with discovery and case development
- Support trial preparation and organize materials for hearings, depositions, and trial
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients throughout the litigation process
- Work closely with attorneys, legal assistants, and other members of the litigation team
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, follow-through, and client service
What You Bring
- Personal injury litigation paralegal experience handling New York cases
- Strong litigation experience and understanding of the New York litigation process
- Ability to manage cases and files through multiple stages of litigation
- Knowledge of New York State and New York City statutes, court rules, and legal procedures
- Experience with New York electronic court filing systems
- Strong legal drafting and document preparation skills
- Ability to manage a significant caseload in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Professional, accountable, and client-focused approach
- Bilingual communication skills
- Ability and willingness to work fully onsite Monday–Friday in New York City
Preferred
- 3+ years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience
- Experience handling matters from intake through resolution
- Familiarity with SmartAdvocate
- New York State Notary Public license or willingness to obtain one
