Job description

Overview

Foster Graham Milstein & Calisher, LLP, is looking for a full-time Litigation Paralegal to join our civil litigation practice group in our Grand Junction office. Candidates must have at least 3 years of litigation experience, with exposure to a range of litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with case management, drafting court documents, discovery and correspondence
• Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings and trials
• Draft and manage e-filing in state and federal courts (CCE and CM/ECF)
• docket/calendar case deadlines
• Communicate effectively with clients, business vendors, attorneys and staff
• Format and process PDFs (Adobe, Kofax, etc.) for bates numbering, headers/footers, redaction, etc.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with time entry

Qualifications

• Required skills include: Civil litigation experience and familiarity with rules of civil procedure and local rules in state and federal court
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills; dependable team player
• Ability to docket/calendar deadlines
• Experience with Westlaw (preferred roles)
• Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
• Experience with Everlaw or other e-discovery platforms (preferred)

Compensation and Benefits

The hiring range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually. Actual salary will vary and may be above or below the range based on relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors consistent with applicable law. This position is based in your Grand Junction office. Regular, in-person attendance is required.
