Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Legal Assistant to join the Litigation Team. This full-time role requires strong organization, discretion, and attention to detail to support healthcare-related litigation matters.

You will handle subpoenas, document requests, and discovery coordination while assisting in-house counsel with NSA proceedings and strategic case development. Competitive benefits accompany the base pay.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal support experience with subpoenas and small claims.
• 2+ years of research experience.
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the litigation matter intake process and track matters in the Legal Tracker billing system.
• Independently manage third-party subpoenas and requests for records while ensuring compliance with laws.
• Support in-house attorneys on NSA-related proceedings and other administrative matters.
• Coordinate the discovery process, manage data collections, and track deadlines with stakeholders and counsel.
• Provide administrative support including limited travel arrangements and processing reimbursements.
• Prepare and distribute litigation matter reports to support case management.
• Lead or contribute to special legal projects and initiatives as needed.
