Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP in Dallas Downtown seeks an experienced legal assistant to join our team. This role supports attorneys with drafting and proofreading legal correspondence, managing filings, calendars, and client communications.

We value organization, confidentiality, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must pass a background and drug screen and have 2+ years of litigation secretarial experience.

Qualificações

• Positive attitude and ability to effectively communicate with attorneys, staff, and clients.

Responsabilidades

• Draft and review legal correspondence including proofreading for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
• Prepares and collect conflict of interest checks, open new files and maintain client files.
• Maintains attorneys’ calendars with dates of importance.
• Familiar with State and Federal court filings, including submission of electronic filings.
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
