Qualifications

• J.D. or current enrollment in ABA-approved law school with at least one year completed.
• Six years of legal training or experience may substitute the education requirement.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state court systems and research procedures.
• Proficiency with Lexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with ESI tools and eDiscovery procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with databases, document review systems, imaging applications.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research involving statutes, regulations, and case law on matters ranging from simple to moderately complex.
• Analyze complex fact patterns and identify relevant legal issues.
• Assist in drafting motions, briefs, memoranda of law, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence.
• Review documents for relevance, responsiveness, and privilege.
• Support attorneys throughout discovery, trial preparation, and other phases of litigation.
• Prepare tables of contents and tables of authorities.
• Verify legal citations for accuracy and compliance with Bluebook standards.
• Use electronic discovery and document management tools to organize, search, and review case materials.
