Job summary

Polsinelli PC seeks a marketing/BD professional to deepen client relationships, support campaigns, and coordinate events. The role involves drafting responses, maintaining content, and collaborating with PR to raise market visibility.

The candidate brings 4+ years in professional services marketing, with strong project management and written communication skills, plus interest in AI opportunities within the firm. This is a full-time Chicago-based role with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years in marketing/business development in a legal or professional services firm.
• Experience in Litigation or Labor & Employment marketing encouraged.
• Strong professionalism and market trend awareness.
• Excellent project management and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of practice groups, attorneys, competition and client base to expand relationships.
• Support development and execution of business development initiatives, programs and events.
• Assist with RFP and pitch response strategy and materials; monitor proposal tracking.
• Ensure content is accurate and up-to-date across websites, bios, pitches, and proposals.
• Coordinate events with firm events team; assist with proposals, budgets, logistics, and client communications.
• Coordinate e-communications including eAlerts and department emails.
• Foster collaboration among lawyers and Marketing department to connect dots across departments.
• Collaborate with PR to raise market profile.
• Draft materials for external submissions (Chambers, Legal 500, etc.).
• Support knowledge management and client data in firm databases.
• Assist with marketing budget processing and expense reconciliation.
• Conduct research and competitive analysis of key practices and industries.
