Job summary

Latham & Watkins LLP in San Francisco/ Silicon Valley seeks a Litigation Services Coordinator to support attorneys with docketing, case management, and legal research within the firm’s Litigation Services framework. The role offers a hybrid schedule with both in-office and remote elements.

You will help maintain calendars, retrieve decisions, draft procedural documents, and coordinate with teams to ensure timely filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; four years’ experience may substitute for a degree.
• Minimum of three years’ relevant law firm docket/calendar/litigation services experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental legal research on court rules, procedures, and judicial tendencies using various databases.
• Draft and review legal documents for conformity with court rules and procedures (e.g., Notices of Appearance, Pro Hac Vice Motions, Stipulations, Notices of Appeal, Notices of Motion, Substitutions of Counsel, Subpoenas, Judgments, Affidavits of Service, Certificates of Good Standing, Foreign Service of Process).
• Prepare procedural road maps to guide upcoming filings.
• Leverage technology to streamline monitoring and distribution of cases in state and federal court.
• Develop a repository of judicial experience with templates, docket sheets, and transcripts from oral argument.
• Protect and maintain confidential, privileged, and proprietary information.
