Job summary

Latham & Watkins seeks a Litigation Services Senior Coordinator to perform litigation research, docketing, and case management, supporting attorneys, staff, and clients within the Litigation Services framework. The role will be located in our Austin or Houston office and offer hybrid/in-office scheduling.

You will calendar deadlines, publish the weekly firm-wide calendar, monitor case status, and maintain templates and transcripts while safeguarding confidential information.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to understand legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation processes to accurately calendar events.
• Experience calendaring deadlines and maintaining docket entries to ensure no deadlines are missed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental legal research on court rules and procedures using various databases.
• Draft and review legal documents for conformity with court rules and procedures.
• Prepare procedural road maps to guide upcoming filings.
• Leverage technology to monitor and distribute cases across state and federal courts.
• Develop a repository of judicial templates, docket sheets, and transcripts.
• Protect and maintain confidential and proprietary information.
