A prestigious Am Law 100 firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Docket Specialist to support the management and maintenance of critical calendaring and docketing functions across multiple practice areas. Key Responsibilities
- Review court filings, agency notices, and client documents to identify and track important deadlines.
- Calculate and maintain litigation and regulatory deadlines within automated docketing and calendaring systems.
- Respond to attorney and staff inquiries regarding docket entries, procedural requirements, and court deadlines.
- Maintain and update court rule sets and calendaring procedures.
- Monitor electronic court filing systems and related notifications.
- Provide guidance and training on docketing processes, policies, and procedural updates.
- Assist with data collection, reporting, and analysis for operational and risk management initiatives.
- Support special projects and other administrative responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of legal calendaring, docketing, or litigation support experience within a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Experience working with automated docketing and calendaring platforms.
- Strong understanding of federal and state court systems, filing procedures, and litigation deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
