Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP is seeking a Client Development & Engagement Assistant Manager - Litigation to lead strategic CDE initiatives across Litigation, Investigations and Regulatory practices. The role emphasizes cross-practice collaboration with litigation clients and practices.

The position involves managing client relationships, developing pitches, and coordinating events, while supporting research, collateral, and data management across channels in a fast-paced legal environment.

• 4-8 years of relevant experience managing complex projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Litigation CDE team and Partners to implement business development strategies and plans.
• Serve as a key resource for business and operational support related to CDE across practices.
• Develop compelling pitch and proposal materials.
• Design and implement practice- and industry-related initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date practice descriptions, capability statements, and competitive intelligence.
• Maintain the Firm's engagement database and track deals/case experience across channels.
• Update website content and Partner bios; manage CDE communications materials.
• Create marketing collateral with graphics and external vendors.
• Coordinate Firm-sponsored events, webinars, and related logistics.
• Prepare directory submissions and survey responses for directories/publications.
• Foster strong relations with stakeholders across departments.
• Support CDE projects and other Firm initiatives as needed.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
