Job summary

Hecker Fink LLP seeks a Business Development and Marketing Manager to drive and execute a broad range of firm and attorney marketing and business development activities across three offices in New York, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles. Reporting to the Director of Business Development and Marketing, this role plays a central part in supporting the firm’s BD/marketing strategy in an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; J.D. or advanced degree a plus.
Hands-on CRM experience; InterAction+ preferred.
Strong writing and editing with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team; client focus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, web editing, and email marketing.

Responsibilities

Advance and refine a proactive marketing and BD program aligned with firm goals.
Develop and track attorney BD plans and milestones.
Use AI/CRM tools to improve efficiency and insights.
Manage CRM data standards, onboarding, and reporting dashboards.
Create pitch materials, capability statements, and RFP responses.
Maintain marketing collateral and websites content.
Conduct targeted BD, client, and competitive research.
Lead submissions for directories and industry awards.
Oversee projects with deliverables, timelines, and risks.
Support attorney onboarding, internal comms, and external positioning.
Plan and execute internal/external events and sponsorships.
