Job summary

Hecker Fink LLP in New York is seeking a senior-level Marketing & Business Development professional to drive proactive programs in support of firm priorities. You will collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Marketing to advance and refine BD strategies across campaigns, client outreach, and awards submissions.

The role requires at least five years in law-firm BD/marketing, strong communication, and fluency with CRM tools and AI-enabled research.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of law firm business development and marketing experience.
Bachelor’s degree required; J.D. or advanced degree a plus.
Strong written and oral communication with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a hybrid New York area environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine proactive marketing and BD programs with the Director of BD/Marketing.
Support attorney BD plans, track outreach and milestones aligned with strategic goals.
Leverage AI, CRM data, and reporting tools to improve efficiency and impact.
Maintain CRM activity, onboarding, data standards, and dashboards.
Create strategic pitch materials, capability statements, and RFP responses.
Update marketing collateral, bios, and client-facing materials.
Conduct targeted BD and competitive research with data analytics.
Lead submissions for directories and industry awards (Chambers, etc.).
Oversee projects with deliverables, timelines, and resource planning.
Coordinate attorney integration materials and internal/external communications.
Plan events and manage sponsorship opportunities to raise profile.
