Job summary

Melone Hatley, P.C. is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our growing team in Florida. The ideal candidate will hold a J.D., be admitted to the Florida bar, and bring 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law.

Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills are essential to delivering high-quality legal service. Represent clients in court, draft pleadings and motions, and collaborate with colleagues to implement effective strategies.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to Florida state bar.
• 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
