Job summary

Melone Hatley, P.C. is a fast-growing family and estate planning law firm with offices across Virginia, Florida, South Carolina, and Texas. We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team.

The ideal candidate will hold a J.D., be admitted to the Texas state bar, and possess 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, plus excellent advocacy and negotiation abilities, are essential.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to Texas state bar.
• 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law.
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage caseloads and meet deadlines.
• Discretion handling confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
