Qualifications

• Active Alabama Bar license in good standing.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in commercial, business, construction, employment, municipal, or insurance defense litigation preferred.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Excellent research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong organization and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal technology.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality legal work.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload involving commercial, business, municipal, construction, employment, and insurance defense litigation.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Handle client meetings, depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in all phases of litigation.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Leverage legal technology and automation to improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate time entries, case files, and litigation deadlines.
