Key Responsibilities
- Handle a portfolio of personal injury cases from initial intake through resolution
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and strategic guidance
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement demands
- Conduct legal research and support case strategy development
- Manage discovery processes, including written discovery and document review
- Participate in depositions, hearings, and other litigation-related activities
- Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes
- Maintain organized case files and ensure adherence to deadlines
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license and good standing to practice law in Alabama
- 1–3 years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation preferred
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting
- Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and service
