A respected and growing litigation defense law firm in Florida seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to handle sophisticated civil matters. The role offers direct client interaction, meaningful courtroom and trial preparation exposure, and the opportunity to independently manage cases from start to finish.

Candidates should have strong writing and research skills, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work onsite with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 1 year of litigation experience; 3+ years preferred.
• Ability to take and defend depositions independently.
• Experience appearing in court and arguing hearings.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Experience managing discovery and preparing cases for trial.
• Strong client communication and reporting experience.
• Stable employment history with demonstrated career progression.
• Must be willing to work onsite and travel as needed.
• Candidates whose backgrounds are primarily in criminal or family law will not be considered.

Responsibilities

A respected and growing litigation defense law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its team in Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to handle sophisticated civil litigation matters, work directly with clients, and gain meaningful courtroom and trial preparation experience. The firm is seeking a self-starter with strong writing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage litigation matters from inception through resolution. Candidates with experience in product liability are highly desired; however, attorneys with strong civil litigation backgrounds will also be considered.

Job Responsibilities

The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for handling all phases of complex litigation matters while working closely with clients and senior attorneys. Responsibilities include taking and defending depositions, arguing hearings, managing discovery, preparing motions, investigating liability claims, preparing cases for trial, communicating with clients, and developing litigation strategies.

• Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 (depending on experience)
