CyberCoders is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join its defense practice in Miami. Take ownership of cases, gain courtroom experience, and work with a team of accomplished litigators handling complex, high-exposure matters.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of civil litigation experience, active Florida Bar membership, and strong deposition, motion practice, and writing skills. The role offers a hybrid work schedule with partnership track potential.

Qualifications

• J.D. is required and Florida/South Carolina Bar membership is important.
• Strong deposition, motion practice, and case management skills are expected.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities are essential.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple cases simultaneously is required.
• Trial experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Develop litigation strategy and evaluate case exposure.
• Communicate directly with insurance carriers, clients, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to take ownership of cases, gain significant courtroom experience, and work alongside a team of accomplished litigators handling complex and high-exposure matters.

The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation defense and be comfortable managing cases through all phases of litigation.

Responsibilities

• -Independently manage a caseload from inception through resolution
