Job Title: Litigation Attorney (General Litigation – NY Bar Required)

Overview:

We are seeking experienced New York-barred attorneys to join a growing attorney pool supporting Legal Services with back-office litigation work. This role focuses on general litigation, with a particular emphasis on premises liability cases. Ideal candidates will bring strong litigation backgrounds and a commitment to long-term collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare draft pleadings and answers
• Review case files post-note of issue for completeness
• Draft dispositive and other litigation motions
• Summarize depositions and medical records
• Draft requests for settlement authority
• Conduct legal research on case law, verdicts, and litigation issues
• Prepare internal memos and litigation strategy documents
• Collaborate closely with supervising attorneys to ensure high-quality legal work

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in general litigation, with a focus on premises liability
• Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, motions, and discovery-related documents
• Strong familiarity with New York civil procedure and discovery rules
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
