A leading law firm in New York City is seeking a mid-level litigation associate to manage complex commercial and real estate litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of litigation experience and strong advocacy skills. Offit Kurman, an Am Law 200 law firm, is seeking a mid-level litigation associate to join our New York City office. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex matters across both commercial and real estate litigation.
Our commercial litigation practice includes business disputes, breach of contract claims, enforcement of non-competes and compensation agreements, and defense of financial institutions and professionals. Real estate litigation work focuses on adjoining property disputes, licensing agreements related to construction access, and contract violations involving developers, property owners, and design professionals.
The ideal candidate will have several years of litigation experience and be comfortable handling all phases of litigation—from legal research and motion practice to discovery, arbitration, and trial preparation. Experience with New York state courts, FINRA, or AAA is a plus. This is a hands-on role with direct responsibility for case work and client interaction.
Qualifications:
A minimum of three years of litigation experience, with a preference for candidates at the mid-level
Strong writing, research, and advocacy skills
Experience with motion drafting, court appearances, discovery, and trial prep
Admission to the New York Bar required
